Located in the heart of Bologna's historic centre, the largest Apple Store in Italy redefines the retail experience through an architectural language built on simplicity, light, and materiality. Every element has been designed to visually disappear, allowing the products and the visitor experience to take centre stage.
The project is defined by the use of an Italian limestone with subtle cement-grey tones, selected for flooring, architectural surfaces, and bespoke details. The stone creates a sophisticated and neutral backdrop, enhancing the perception of space while highlighting the purity of form that defines the Apple universe.
Natural light flows through the historic interiors and interacts with the material richness of the stone, creating an atmosphere of calm, clarity, and contemporary elegance. Continuous surfaces and soft tonal variations generate a remarkable sense of lightness, almost allowing tables, devices, and design objects to appear suspended within the space.
